Recognized worldwide as an innovator in design, manufacturing and maintenance of large industrial and Oil & Gas facilities specializing in large on-site tank and modular construction fabrication, Cofely Fabricom knew there was an opportunity for them in Alberta but, upon entering the market, discovered that there was more than just operations that needed to be adjusted for Canadian business.
Cofely Fabricom’s corporate identity, communication and messaging was tailored to a European audience, and as such, did not resonate within the Alberta market, nor challenge Canadian competitors. Another unique challenge presented itself in that as an unknown player in the Alberta oilfields, the company was facing severe recruitment concerns.
To address these issues, a brand strategy, brand and recruitment messaging, and marketing plan was developed for the company – with such tactical execution as development of a Canadian website, video, presentation tools, advertising campaign, marketing collateral and tradeshow materials, and industry sponsorship and event planning of their yard opening ceremonies in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.
